Are you dreaming of a romantic country wedding with retro charm and nostalgic flair? Then your heart should beat faster in our new location. Although private parties of any kind can be held in the Klosterdarre – but especially for weddings the rustic barn is made like.

Until 2018, the kiln still housed the farm store of the monastery distillery Wöltingerode, before that, grain was dried in the building with the historic interior half-timbering. Today, after the Klosterdarre has been freshly spruced up as a venue, it still exudes a warm, quaint atmosphere.

Up to 40 people can celebrate together comfortably in the building, which is very centrally located between the hotel and the distillery. Both round and square tables can be set for the guests. If you want to soak up the sun in between or enjoy a balmy summer evening with all your senses, you can enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of our monastery estate right outside the door. For a champagne reception or a free wedding ceremony, the covered outdoor area on the one hand and the neighboring monastery garden on the other hand are ideal.

This garden directly behind the manor house, located a maximum of 100 meters from the kiln, can also be used as a new venue for events. Historic masonry, rustling treetops and a flowering meadow, where your guests can also enjoy the summer barefoot, make the special charm of the place.

In the kiln itself there is room for a dance floor plus DJ, so that nothing stands in the way of a night of dancing. For the catering of your guests you can choose from our wide buffet or flying buffet offer. Whether seasonal, regional or vegetarian – everything is possible.
